Is it wrong to be thinking of Winter already? Yes it probably is. Even though last Monday I am sure I woke up in the middle of November - what an awful day! Anyway, that is England for you, and whatever the weather, we get out there and play golf! Rain didn't stop play at The Farrington, Bristol, (click here to see their Golf NOW webpage) for the 36 hole Ladies Club Championship competition. Saturday saw the event starting in glorious sunshine, however Sunday morning was a complete wash out. It turned out to be a great weekend though with the sunshine finally overcoming and the eventual winner Michaela Chivers (pictured) taking the cup for the second year in a row! With blue or black skies above, enjoy your golf this weekend. Send us your golf stories so we can publish them online at www.golf-now.co.uk and in our magazines - please email them to news@golf-now.co.uk If and you are in the market for a new putter, why not go for a belly or broomhandle just like Lee Westwood and Adam Scott - click here to find out more about the great new range from S-BLADE! Finally, check out Golfskispain and Tunisia First for some excellent deals for winter golf in the sunshine! |
