Cradoc Golf Club is a spectacular 18-hole parkland golf course set on the northern side of the Usk valley some 2 miles from the bustling market town of Brecon in Mid Wales. It is noted for its natural surroundings, including mature tree lined fairways and an occasional water hazard that gives golfers a challenging, yet entertaining, test of their golf. The course, that is the epitome of the phrase "golf as it should be" for the relaxed, friendly and unhurried nature of the game, was designed by D K Cotton in 1967 to take advantage of the rolling landscape, and rarely does a golf course have such a magnificent backdrop, as it overlooks the breathtakingly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. One of the finest parkland courses in the Principality, it was Welsh Golf Club of the Year in 2005 and is the permanent home of the prestigious Molson Coors “Tournament of Champions” and the club is proud to note that a number of tournament winners have gone on to become successful tour professionals.
